Liturgical calendars of the Olympic Peninsula

by | Nov 19, 2024

We are pleased to share with you the liturgical calendars for the Catholic Communities of the Olympic Peninsula. These are maintained by our staff and provide the most up-to-date information available. In addition to bookmarking this page, you can subscribe to each or all calendars so that they are included on the app or device of your choice. For information on how to set that up, check out the ‘Subscriptions’ tab.

Our three priests (Father Naresh Gali, Father Jacob Maurer, and Father Ed White) generally follow a set schedule for where they will be each weekend. It is always best to check the given weekend to confirm where a specific priest will be, but you can use the ‘Finding a priest’ tab to learn more about the typical priest rotation schedule.

Event details:

  • [QA] indicates Queen of Angels
  • [SA] indicates Saint Anne
  • [SJ] indicates Saint Joseph
  • [SM] indicates Saint Mary Star of the Sea
  • [ST] indicates Saint Thomas the Apostle

Most events will have additional details. To display those details – including location, Mass intention, or links. To display those details, hover your mouse over or tap an event.

Interested in exploring the liturgical & devotional information of a given day? Click (or tap on) the day’s liturgical event (typically at the top of each day in purple). In the box that pops up, click (or tap) on the Universalis link.

Mobile device users: turn your phone or tablet sideways (landscape) for the best viewing experience.

In general, our three priests have specific regional responsibilities (outlined below). For specific days – especially weekends – check the calendar to confirm who will be where.

  • Father Naresh Gali covers the east region of the parish family (Saint Mary Star of the Sea)
  • Father Jacob Maurer covers the central region of the parish family (Queen of Angels & Saint Joseph)
  • Father Ed White covers the west region of the parish family (Saint Anne & Saint Thomas the Apostle mission)
    • On the first Sunday of each month (and it’s vigil), Father Maurer visits either the east or west regions, with that region’s priest taking the weekend Masses of the central region (excepting holidays and vacations, see calendar for specific weekends)
    • On the odd-numbered months (January, March, May, July, September, November), Father Maurer will be in the west region, with Father Ed in the central region
    • On the even-numbered months (February, April, June, August, October, December), Father Maurer will be in the east region, with Father Gali in the central region

Priest names are ONLY specified when there is an exception to the normal schedule – if no priest is named for a given liturgy, the normally assigned regional priest is presiding

Subscriptions
If you would like to subscribe to these calendars on the device of your choice, you can do so using the iCal links (right-click to copy) below. I highly recommend subscribing to these calendars as web calendars (not downloaded), which will add the subscribed calendars AND they will be updated each time changes are made at the parish office:
